On occasion we are out of stock on an item that has been ordered. There are a few ways that we handle this.
For foods, we will contact you by phone and/or email to determine if you would like a different food or if you would like to wait until we get the food back in stock. Often, we can substitute a different flavor or different sized bag. If necessary, we can deliver the in-stock portion of the order on time and deliver the back-ordered product once it becomes available.
For non-food items, such as toys, treats, health supplements, etc., we will attempt to make the best substitution based on our judgement. If we are unsure of an acceptable substitution, we will contact you by phone and/or email to discuss substitutions or delayed pick-up.
