What is the Frozen Delivery Surcharge? There is a $5.95 surcharge for the delivery of frozen items. This fee covers the cost of the specialized packing materials, including a Hollywood Feed thermal bag and ice pack, used to ensure your product remains frozen and safe during transit.
How to receive a refund for the surcharge: You can receive a full refund of the $5.95 fee if you return the packaging materials to the driver at the time of delivery. To do this, you must:
Be Home: Meet the driver at the door to accept the items directly.
Leave a Cooler Out: Place your own cooler bag and ice pack outside for the driver to transfer the items into.
FDA Guidelines & Policy Restrictions: Once the delivery driver leaves the Hollywood Feed freezer bag in your possession, we cannot take it back or issue a refund. This is to strictly comply with FDA guidelines regarding cross-contamination and safety.
